I. Introduction and Scope

Welcome to the AITalkingKeyboard iOS application and its included keyboard extension services (collectively referred to as "this Service") provided by xiangyu chen (hereinafter referred to as "I" or "the Developer"). I deeply understand the importance of personal information to you and will do my utmost to protect your personal information safely and reliably. This privacy policy aims to explain the information processing that may be involved in providing this Service and your rights.

II. Information I May Process and Its Uses

To provide you with high-quality, efficient AI intelligent reply services and to continuously improve user experience, this Service will follow the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity to process specific information that you actively provide or that is generated during your use of the Service. Specifically as follows:

This local conversation memory will not be uploaded to my (developer's) servers. If you uncheck (disable) the "Memory Function", stored conversation memory will be cleared. * Regarding "User Content": I solemnly promise that the text content you provide to obtain AI replies will be sent directly to third-party AI model service providers through encrypted transmission for real-time processing. My (the service developer's) servers will not store, record, or retain any of your original input content in any form. AI model service providers promise not to retain your user content after processing is complete. I may retain de-identified and aggregated statistical metadata related to AI service interactions (such as request counts, not including your original input text) for service quality monitoring and algorithm improvement, but this data cannot be traced back to any individual or your specific input.

** Regarding "Usage Data": When I collect this type of data, I will perform de-identification or anonymization processing to ensure that data analysis results cannot be directly associated with specific individual users.

Special Notes Regarding Keyboard Extension:

• Data Processing: The "AITalkingKeyboard" keyboard extension included in this application (hereinafter referred to as "keyboard extension") will only send the text content you input in the current input field through encrypted transmission to AI model service providers for processing when you actively click function buttons that require network connectivity, such as obtaining AI suggestions. This process may involve technical forwarding through my servers, but my servers will not store your input content. I will not record or upload your keystroke history, passwords, bank card numbers, or other sensitive personal information not used for AI generation.
• "Full Access" Permission: "AITalkingKeyboard" may need to obtain "Full Access" permission from your device to enable network communication for providing AI replies and other core functions. If "Full Access" permission is not granted, the keyboard extension's network-based AI functions may not work properly or may be limited. I promise that "Full Access" permission is only used to implement the declared keyboard functions and will not be used to access or collect personal data unrelated to the service. You can manage this permission at any time in your device's "Settings".

III. Information Storage and Protection

1. Storage:
   • User Content: Not stored. As mentioned above, content that users input to obtain AI replies is not stored by my servers.
   • Conversation Memory (Local): If you enable the "Memory Function" within the app, the app will store the most recent 10 conversation records locally on your device. This data will not be uploaded to my servers. If you disable the "Memory Function", these records will be cleared.
   • Purchase History: Related purchase verification information is primarily managed and stored by Apple App Store. I only query through Apple's service interface when I need to verify user purchase status, and will not store your detailed purchase records on my servers for extended periods.
   • De-identified Usage Data: May be stored by third-party analytics service providers (such as Apple App Analytics) or temporarily stored in my analysis systems, with anonymity ensured during storage.
   • Contact Information: If you contact me via email or other means, relevant communication records may be retained in my email system during the period I handle your issues. After issues are resolved, if there is no other necessity for retention, they will be deleted or archived anonymously.
2. Storage Duration:
   • User Content: Not stored.
   • Conversation Memory (Local): On your device, when "Memory Function" is enabled, a maximum of the most recent 10 records are saved; when you disable "Memory Function", records will be cleared; or when records exceed 10, earlier records will be overwritten by new records.
   • Other information such as purchase verification-related status information, de-identified usage data, and contact information you actively provide will have storage durations based on the necessity of providing services, resolving issues, or meeting legal and regulatory requirements. After exceeding the necessary period, I will delete or anonymize them.
3. Storage Location: Given that user content is not stored by me, "Conversation Memory" is stored on your local device, and other anonymized usage data or data processed by third-party service providers follows the respective service providers' policies for storage location. If I process and store de-identified data independently, I will prioritize servers located within the People's Republic of China (for the purposes of this policy, excluding Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan region).
4. Security Measures: I have implemented industry-standard security protection measures to protect your information during transmission (for example, using encryption technologies such as HTTPS to ensure data security during transmission). For user content and local conversation memory, I will ensure their encrypted security during transmission to third-party AI service providers. For conversation memory stored on your local device, its security also depends on your device's overall security environment. For any data I may temporarily access or process, I will adopt reasonable physical, technical, and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration.

IV. External Provision and Sharing of Information

I will not actively share information that can directly identify your personal identity with any third-party companies, organizations, or individuals, unless I obtain your explicit consent or it meets the following specific circumstances:

1. Sharing with Authorized Partners to Achieve Core Business Functions:
   • AI Service Providers: To provide you with AI reply generation functions, I will assist you in directly sending or forwarding through non-storing technical means your input user content (encrypted) to cooperative AI technology service providers (such as Alibaba Cloud) for real-time processing. If you have enabled the "Memory Function", the most recent 10 conversation contexts stored on your local device will also be sent to the service provider as part of the request. I (the service developer) will not store this content on my servers. I will strive to choose reputable service providers with clear data protection commitments and require them not to retain your data after completing the service (contextual data may be used for current request processing according to service provider policies).
   • Payment Services: In-app purchase functionality is provided by Apple App Store payment services. Information processing during transactions follows Apple's privacy policy. I only obtain non-sensitive information necessary to verify purchase status.
   • Analytics and Statistical Services: I may share de-identified or anonymized usage data with third parties providing data analytics services (such as Apple App Analytics or my own analytics systems) to evaluate the effectiveness of this service and optimize user experience. This data does not include your original input content, local conversation memory, or information that can directly identify you.
2. According to Mandatory Legal Requirements: I may share certain information about you externally according to legal regulations, litigation dispute resolution needs, or as required by administrative and judicial authorities in accordance with the law.
3. Protecting Public Interest or My Legitimate Rights: Within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, to protect the interests, property, or safety of myself, my users, or the general public from harm when necessary.

For third parties with whom information is shared, I will make commercially reasonable efforts to assess their data security capabilities and urge them to comply with relevant confidentiality and security measures.

V. Your Rights

Given that this service does not provide user accounts, and I (the developer) do not store your core user content or account information that can directly identify your personal identity, your rights are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1. Manage and Clear Conversation Memory: You can enable or disable the conversation memory function through [Please accurately describe the specific path for users to find the "Memory Function" toggle within the app]. Disabling this function will immediately clear all conversation memory stored on your device. Enabling this function will allow the app to retain the most recent 10 conversation records on your local device as context for subsequent AI requests.
2. Manage Keyboard "Full Access" Permission: You can enable or disable "Full Access" permission for this service's keyboard extension at any time in your iOS device's "Settings". After disabling, the keyboard's network-based AI functions may be limited or unavailable.
3. Regarding Information Provided Through Contact Methods: If you have contacted me via email or other means and provided personal information (such as email address), you can contact me to request access, correction, or deletion of this specific information.
4. Information Rights for Third-Party Services: For third-party services used indirectly through this service (such as AI model service providers, Apple App Store), your information rights (such as access, deletion) need to be claimed directly with these third parties according to their respective privacy policies.
5. Withdraw Consent: The collection of de-identified usage data by this service is based on your consent to this privacy policy. Although this data has been anonymized, if you wish to learn more or have specific concerns, you can communicate with me through the contact information provided in Section VIII of this policy. For keyboard "Full Access" permission and "Conversation Memory" function, you can change your choices at any time through device settings or in-app settings.

If you wish to exercise any of the above rights or have any questions, please contact me through the contact information provided in Section VIII of this policy. To ensure security, I may require you to provide appropriate proof to verify the device or transaction related to your request before processing your request. I will respond within a reasonable period (usually no more than 15 business days).

VI. Children's Privacy

This service is primarily intended for adults. I will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age (or the corresponding age specified in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian of a child and have questions about the processing of personal information of the child under your care, please contact me through the contact information provided in Section VIII of this policy. If I discover that I have collected personal information from children without first obtaining verifiable parental or guardian consent, I will take steps to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.

I may revise this privacy policy from time to time.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will indicate the most recent revision date of the policy.
