Privacy Policy
PunchPlot is a local-first construction inspection app. This policy explains how PunchPlot V1 handles information.
Data collection
PunchPlot does not require an account and has no developer-operated backend, advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDK. The developer does not collect data from the app.
On-device information
Site reports, client and address text, plan copies, findings, assignee labels, photos, markup, company logo, and signature are stored in PunchPlot's iOS app container. Files you explicitly select through Apple's Files or Photos picker are copied into PunchPlot. Removing a PunchPlot copy does not remove the original from its source.
Library photos retain original EXIF capture time and GPS when available. If either value is missing, PunchPlot leaves it empty and does not substitute the device's current location.
Camera and location
Camera access is requested only when you choose to take an evidence photo. When In Use location access is requested only when you choose Use Current Location or use the in-app camera. Denying access, disabling location services, or working offline does not block finding capture or PDF export.
If you request an address suggestion, Apple's system location and reverse-geocoding services may process the selected coordinates. Those Apple services are governed by Apple's terms and policies. A lookup failure does not block saving.
Sharing
PunchPlot does not upload reports or evidence to a developer server. A PDF leaves the app's storage only after you open the system share sheet and choose a destination. Copies shared to Files, email, or another app are controlled by that destination, and PunchPlot cannot automatically remove them.
Retention, deletion, and backup
Local data remains until you delete its inspection or uninstall PunchPlot. Deleting an inspection removes its local plans, findings, photos, and internal exports. PunchPlot V1 provides no cloud sync or separate project backup.
PunchPlot does not deliberately exclude difficult-to-recreate plans, photos, or reports from iOS device backup. Temporary transfer and rendering files are excluded and periodically cleaned. Final backup behavior depends on your device and iOS settings.
Security and policy changes
PunchPlot relies on the iOS sandbox and system permissions to protect local data, but no storage method can guarantee absolute security. If a later release adds accounts, sync, analytics, third-party SDKs, or remote processing, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated.

本机信息
现场报告、客户与地址文字、图纸副本、问题、负责人标签、照片、标注、公司 Logo 和签名保存在 PunchPlot 的 iOS 应用空间中。通过 Apple Files 或 Photos 系统选择器明确选取的文件会复制到 PunchPlot；删除 PunchPlot 中的副本不会删除来源中的原文件。
相册照片会优先保留可用的 EXIF 拍摄时间和 GPS。若任一信息不存在，PunchPlot 会保持为空，不使用设备当前位置替代。
相机与定位
只有你选择拍摄证据照片时才会请求相机权限。只有你点击“使用当前位置”或使用 App 内相机时才会请求“使用期间”定位权限。拒绝权限、关闭定位或离线不会阻止记录问题或导出 PDF。
如果你请求地址建议，Apple 的系统定位和反向地理编码服务可能处理所选坐标；这些 Apple 服务受 Apple 的条款与政策约束。查询失败不会阻止保存。
共享
PunchPlot 不会自行把报告或证据上传到开发者服务器。只有你打开系统分享面板并选择接收位置后，PDF 才会离开 App 空间。已经分享到 Files、邮件或其他 App 的副本由对应位置管理，PunchPlot 无法自动删除。
保留、删除与备份
本地数据会保留到你删除相应现场报告或卸载 PunchPlot。删除报告会删除其本地图纸、问题、照片和内部导出文件。PunchPlot V1 不提供云同步或独立项目备份。
PunchPlot 不会主动将难以重建的图纸、照片或报告排除出 iOS 设备备份；临时传输和渲染文件会被排除并定期清理。最终备份行为取决于设备及 iOS 设置。
安全与政策变更
PunchPlot 使用 iOS 沙盒和系统权限保护本地数据，但任何存储方式都无法保证绝对安全。若后续版本增加账号、同步、分析、第三方 SDK 或其他远程处理，本政策与 App Store 隐私声明会同步更新。
