Does GridCalc Pro require an account or internet connection?
No. Core calculations, saved calculations, projects, favorites, and report generation are designed to work offline. No account is required.
Where is my work stored?
App records and settings are stored in the app container on your device. The developer does not operate a server that can view or recover them.
How do I back up or move the whole calculation library?
Open About & Engineering Scope, then use Calculation library backup. Export creates a portable JSON containing projects, saved calculations, favorites, presets, and EV feeder plans. Restore validates the file, shows its record counts, and asks before replacement; the previous primary file is retained locally. Imported cable-pack source files and exported PDFs are not included, so keep and re-import those separately.
How do I share or archive a calculation?
Generate a PDF from the result or history screen, then choose the destination in Apple's share sheet. You control the recipient and storage provider.
What do Demo, Verified, and User-provided source labels mean?
- Demo
- Illustrative data for product evaluation. Do not use it for construction or code decisions.
- Verified
- A released reference pack whose identity, edition, applicability, and checks have been reviewed for the stated scope.
- User-provided
- Values imported or entered by the user. Confirm them against the original manufacturer or governing source.
Why did the previous result disappear?
Changing an input invalidates the old result so the screen does not present a stale calculation as current. Run the calculation again after reviewing the new inputs.
How does Apple Watch work?
Supported summaries can move between the iPhone app and its paired watch using Apple's Watch Connectivity system. This is not a GridCalc Pro cloud account or developer-hosted sync service.
Before reporting an incorrect result
- Capture every input, unit, phase/wiring choice, and source-status label.
- Record the formula steps, warnings, app version, and engine version.
- Compare against an independent trusted source.
- Remove confidential project or client information before sharing.

为什么修改输入后旧结果消失了？
输入变化会使旧结果失效，避免把过期结果误认为当前计算。复核新输入后请重新计算。
Apple Watch 如何联动？
受支持的摘要通过 Apple 的 Watch Connectivity 在 iPhone App 与配对手表间传递；这不是 GridCalc Pro 云账号或开发者托管的同步服务。
反馈“结果错误”前请准备
- 记录全部输入、单位、相制/接线选项以及来源状态标签。
- 记录公式步骤、警告、App 版本和计算引擎版本。
- 使用独立可信来源进行交叉校验。
